Tournament #1

The first Golf Channel Tour tournament of the season did not go as planned. My bad golf game decided to show up that day, and all I could do was just deal with it and enjoy the group I was playing with. Even though the day was a bust I met some really nice/cool people and I can’t wait to play again and redeem myself to my flight.

Hi Andrea,

I read your post. You have a great attitude towards your unfortunate play. That outward expression of joy in the moment will do you well in your next tournament.

If you don't feel on top of your swing just play each shot as though it is your best effort. If others score better, well, be happy that you forced them to do so by playing each shot to your best ability.

Andrea,

Good luck on tour this year. We will be following your progress. The rules on the GCAT have been ammended nationwide so all women play one set of tees up from the men counterparts to more acurately reflect the USGA's stance of women playing 10% of men's distance.

You have a great attitude and I wish you the best of luck this season and hope to see you at Nationals in La Quinta!

Good attitude. Isn't that the point of playing. Wouldn't be the same game if always alone.
